We planted five olives and two peach trees Saturday at my parent's Potter Valley property. This is a Spanish olive, the fourth olive of the day and the second of three Arbequinas along a hillside berm.
It's a table olive as well as used to produce a highly valued olive oil, a more buttery oil with a slightly peppery finish.
